Alrighty ether, sorry I’ve been absent from my blog as life and laziness has gotten the best of me. I just moved my youngest to AZ for a change and hopefully flight training π and saw my parents again for a couple of weeks. It is always a blessing to spend quality time with them as well as with my mother and father in-laws.
After the stunning rebuke from the Australian state department, I have finally settled into basically full retirement mode and have released any photography related stress. I need to sort of retool my purpose of photographing, especially as it pertains to nature and wildlife. During my very short stint into photography graduate school, I was planning on taking a more activist approach; however, now with a more retired attitude, I am currently planning on working on my techniques for the near term while determining my future clients (I may be targeting), if any.
My long-term artistic goal may be to simply produce work for future artists and curators to determine what to make with my works. As I have developed a extreme dislike to the idea of hustling for money, hopefully my offspring or theirβs may find gold in my visions of the nature of the 2020s sometime in the future. All I know is that I would rather be famous for my photography after I’m dead so I don’t have to talk about it with strangers.
