Now that the I have a mission to seek out big game in my photography, I think that it is time to finally find a survival class. Photographing birds and insects generally does not require one to trek deeply into the bush; however, it seems like I may need to get further away from my vehicle than I have been the last couple of years.
Although I have spent many days outdoors, I generally have more than ample provisions and gear to make my time at least somewhat comfortable. However, the additional trekking necessary for making great images of large animals comes with additional risks that I may not have the skills required to come out unscathed.
